Hi there! Welcome to airss, the intelligent RSS reader that learns what you love. Before you get started, I just want to set a few ground rules. In addition to the End User License Agreement (EULA) provided by Apple, you must read and agree to these Terms of Use.
By using airss, you agree to the following terms:

License
As the creator of airss, I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your iOS or iPadOS device. You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app in any way.

Access to Data and Services
airss uses a server (api.andrecallus.com) to fetch RSS feed content on your behalf. This service is provided for legitimate use within the app only. You agree not to:
- Access or retrieve data directly from the API or any other means that bypasses the app
- Attempt to overwhelm the server with excessive requests
- Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to access the service
- Abuse the service in ways that could harm its availability for other users
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, intercept, or modify server communications
The server is provided as a courtesy to improve your experience. Abuse of this service may result in restrictions or loss of access.

Updates and Modifications
I reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue airss at any time and for any reason, without prior notice. This includes changes to the app itself or the server infrastructure that supports RSS feed fetching.

App Availability and Issues
I cannot guarantee that the app or its supporting services will always be available or error-free. RSS feeds may become unavailable, servers may experience downtime, and features may occasionally malfunction. If you experience any issues with airss, you can reach out at [email protected], and I'll do my best to address them.

Lawful Use
You agree to use airss only for lawful purposes and not to use the app in any way that could harm the app, the supporting infrastructure, other users, or any third parties. You agree to respect the terms of service of any RSS feeds you subscribe to.

Content and Information
The content and information within airss comes from third-party RSS feeds that you choose to subscribe to. This content is provided "as is," and I make no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
I am not responsible for the content, accuracy, legality, or availability of articles and media from third-party RSS feeds. Your use of such content is at your own discretion and risk.

Machine Learning and Personalization
airss uses on-device machine learning to personalize your experience. All training, model creation, and predictions happen locally on your device. I do not collect, access, or have any visibility into your reading preferences, ratings, or machine learning models.

User Data and Privacy
All data you create within airss, including your channel subscriptions, article ratings, reading history, and preferences, is stored locally on your device. I do not collect, store, or have access to any of this information.
The server that fetches RSS feeds does collect aggregated, anonymous data about feed popularity (how many times each feed is requested across all users). This data may be used to provide features like "Popular Feeds" to help users discover content. This information is completely anonymous and cannot be linked to individual users.

Limitation of Liability
I am not responsible for any loss or damage you may incur as a result of using airss, including, without limitation, any loss of data, damage to your device, or consequences arising from third-party content. Furthermore, I shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use of airss or its supporting services.

Third-Party RSS Feeds and Links
airss allows you to subscribe to RSS feeds from any source you choose. These feeds and the articles within them are provided by third parties. I do not endorse, verify, or assume any responsibility for the content, accuracy, legality, or availability of these feeds.
When you open articles in Safari or other browsers, you may be subject to tracking and privacy policies of those websites, which are beyond my control.

Intellectual Property
I own the copyrights and trademarks for airss, and you agree not to use my intellectual property in a manner that could harm me or my reputation. The content you access through RSS feeds is owned by the respective publishers and content creators.

Service Availability
The server infrastructure that fetches RSS feeds is provided as a courtesy to improve app performance. I reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue this service at any time. In such cases, the app may fall back to direct RSS fetching or reduced functionality.

These Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. Your continued use of airss constitutes your agreement to be bound by the most current version of these Terms of Use.

Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use, in conjunction with the Apple EULA, constitutes the entire agreement between you and me with respect to your use of airss. If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall be enforced to the fullest extent possible.

By using airss, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and the Apple EULA.
Fair Use Policy
airss is designed for personal, individual use. While I don't track individual users, I do monitor overall system health and usage patterns to ensure the service remains available and performant for everyone.
Examples of acceptable use:
- Subscribing to RSS feeds and reading articles for personal information and enjoyment
- Using the app's machine learning features to personalize your reading experience
- Refreshing your feeds periodically to get new content
- Saving articles for later reading
Examples of unacceptable use:
- Making excessive or automated requests to the server
- Attempting to download or scrape large volumes of content
- Using the service for commercial purposes without permission
- Attempting to bypass rate limits or abuse the infrastructure
- Any use that could degrade the service for other users
